You should agree that Israel is putting max effort into minimizing non-Hamas casualties, short of actually giving a ceasefire which lets Hamas win.

If "minimizing casualties" is leading to blowback against Jews all over the world, why not just get it over with and go for 100% kill? Trying to minimize casualties is causing the war to drag out for months, and daily negative coverage. Carpet bombing Gaza into rubble and picking off the survivors will lead to an outcry once, but then in a few days the news cycle will move on to something else.
