I live very close to the epicenter, so we got the full effect of the quake. Because we were in a small house and not a big building I could see the violent shaking of everything and hear the house structure flexing. It was an awful sound. Water bottles on tables were thrown on the floor. My lights were bouncing up and down. It was so loud I thought maybe a low flying airplane was about to hit the house or a bomb went off. Its a sound I'll never forget.

We've had 3 notable aftershocks after the main event. One was a 4.0, so pretty strong. We had another one this morning that shook the walls, but it only lasted maybe 5 seconds. I hope we don't get any more. We didn't have any damage, thankfully.
