I never heard of the Scofield Bible before, but its described as this:
"The Scofield Reference Bible is a widely circulated study Bible edited and annotated by the American Bible student Cyrus I. Scofield, which popularized dispensationalism at the beginning of the 20th century."
"Dispensationalism is a theological framework that divides history into multiple ages or "dispensations" in which God acts with his chosen people in different ways.1 It is an evangelical theological system that addresses issues concerning the biblical covenants, Israel, the church, and end times."
I don't know if its popular here. Maybe among Bible study groups.
