Election day, November 7, 2023, is different this year (Public Board)
I have been bombarded lately with mail from people running in school board elections. They all state how they support parents rights and want to focus on academics, unlike whoever is in there now. They promise to share all information about their child with parents. All "how-to" sex books are off the shelves in school libraries.
I don't have any kids, but I was shocked to learn the school librarian in one of the schools I support with my taxes think young children should have access to those sex books at any age. No. Absolutely not.
Most school board election candidates have never had competitors in the over 30 years I've lived here, but they do now. Are you seeing something similar where you live?
