I think its a great plan to boost our economy. Maybe the stock market doesn't like it now, but it'll work itself out shortly after they think about it more. Other countries impose their tariffs on goods sold in the US and sometimes they are steep. I guess the US didn't impose tariffs on those countries in the past or if we did they were very low tariffs. Things are different now.

I'm sure countries will negotiate the tariffs Trump wants to impose, but the bottom line is the US stands to benefit one way or the other. Maybe some countries might relocate their businesses here to avoid tariffs. Other countries may lower their tariffs if we lower ours. I think its a good thing for our country in the end.
