Funny how this is an after thought, just a small part of a large post, rather than the main topic itself. I've seen a similar phenomenon on other forums. When Trump is charged with something or loses a case, it's seen as insignificant or no big deal.

There was a time when something like this happening to a former US President would be a huge deal. Now it seems like just another routine event as if there is nothing to see here.

Of course the mainstream media is trying to turn this circus into a reverse OJ situation. ABC was actually following his limo like the media was following OJ when he was in that white Ford Bronco.

That doesn't take anything away from your post though as you bring up some excellent points. DeSantis seemed to be on his way there before he sabotaged himself.
