You seem to indicate that the optics (appearance) is irrelevant because what people read into it is not "the truth" and what you think. To someone who isn't versed on the necessity of ICE operations it looked like butchery.

He was a dumbass for carrying a loaded gun into basically a riot and there's a reasonable question why he thought that was a thing to do. And people have been killed by police for much, much less and not had any public hearing. It still stinks like a dead mackerel.

If Walz will work with Trump it will de-escalate the situation. We'll see, but I don't trust it. If it doesn't work Trump could use the insurrection act to control the situation.

I don't comprehend in any way whatsoever how Trump "works with" Walz or any other public official in MN. ICE is there because of factors that the MN establishment basically says are irrelevant or are lies. There's no "works with" here. What Trump is doing is completely alien to the liberal mindset.

I'm saying that MN can't be reasoned with and therefore an authoritarian war between the states mode is correct here.

Trump has not acted meaningfully to ensure public safety, and bringing in the military and enforcing curfews, which for some reason he won't do, would greatly reduce the safety issues.

I say Trump's virtually guaranteeing that the house loses to the Dems later this year. Then he another fucking impeachment starts, and endless TDS hearings.

I would actually support Trump in invoking a national insurrection act and suspending the next election. Right now he's treading a middle ground that satisfies nothing.
