How could civil order possibly be restored in Minneapolis? Assuming, of course, that lawful deportations continue as they should.

I first of all assume that anyone reading this here finds truthful sources of information and narrative online and is completely disregarding the spin that the big networks put on these stories. I also assume that every one of you correctly understands the wide scope and continuous nature of the Minnesota protests and also you have witnessed through videos the behavior and violence of the protesters. In other words be informed, not asking me to explain the current situation. You should be up to speed.

He has the appearance of a decent nice caring man.

The optics of this are FUCKING HORRIBLE. The circumstances and the person's reckless behavior are being swallowed up in a lot of coverage.

Plus the media-inflated coverage of the abandoned 5 year old kid that was framed as being held and detained.

I could see a lot of conservatives who haven't weaned completely off of mainstream news who don't get info from the alt media seeing this as well as Renee Good (bad) as "Kent State Moments".

Right now sitting from here: I don't see deportations continuing without real additional damage to the culture and the country.

First of all, assuming continued deportations - you have violent street mob behavior, egged on and ratified as acceptable behavior by the local politicians at all levels. How do you turn this off?

To get actual control on the ground I can see only the following measures:

- Martial law with arrest on violation.

- Arrest and detain the major and the governor, probably also the MN attorney general, incommunicado. Not allowed to speak or address the public. Probably under actual arrest and prohibited from online social media access, until they resign, or sign papers abdicating their anti fed anti ICE positions.

- Commandeer all of the the local media and start pumping out a continuing informational messages that amount to "This is the federal government. The constitution of the US gives the fed gov supremacy over state and local rule. We will continue to arrest and detain suspected illegal immigrants and lawbreakers. You cannot resist us without facing life changing consequences which may lead to death or imprisonment." Something that amounts to that. Just pumping the message out 24x7.

Basically, go totalitarian for real in that part of the US. Absolutely grind it into the faces of local populations that the recent behavior is unacceptable and may be fatal.

Essentially, the US government may have to literally go to war against the people and the government of Minnesota, and the peace will be forced, extorted and lethally enforced. Basically an occupation of hostile territory.

I don't see a middle ground at all.

Lastly for now, rioting is active like this at the worst of winter weather. What the fuck is spring or summer going to look like up there?
