We don't have a word like ambit, but this is how Trump negotiates. Throw out some outrageous ideas and then work back to an agreeable solution. Trump doesn't want Canada, but he's negotiating a better deal than what we have now. We give Canada a lot of money and it has to stop. They don't even stop illegal immigration from their borders into the US.

Anyway, Canada has gotten used to Biden's complacency but when confronted with Trump's threat of tariffs, Canada realizes they need to work out a fairer deal

The US needs to ally with Greenland, because they have a strategic location. Considering the state of the world today it would be militarily advantageous for the US and Nato. Its a territory of Denmark now, but that could change.

The US built the Panama Canal but we don't control it. We never should have given control of it away but unfortunately it needs like $3B of work now because its in disrespair. Panama can't repair it and they want us to, but at the same time they charge us higher shipping fees if we use it. We've been getting screwed by them for awhile and its not going to happen any more now that Trump is back.
