Daniel Penny defended passengers on the NYC subway from a deranged man threatening to kill people. He put him in a headlock and later on the man died. He didn't intend to kill him, but he was on drugs that likely caused his death.

A lot of attorneys think this case against him never should've been brought. Others think he will be acquitted, but Penny is white and the deranged man, Jordan Neely, is black. The DA that bought the case is none other than Alvin Bragg. Unfortunately, the prosecutor in this case is Dafna Yoran, a hard-left progressive.

I don't know how biased the jury will be, but its likely many of them have ridden the NYC subways and know how scary it can be if you're trapped with a nut. I'm not sure if he can get a fair trial in NYC, though.
