That's an interesting angle. It could be true. Trump knows that Gaetz is not popular after what he did to Kevin McCarthy. The Senate is full of RINOs. Gaetz did resign from the House, so if he doesn't get chosen for AG its possible he could be appointed to fill Marco Rubio's Senate seat.

I'm sure the Senate would love to have him join their ranks. He would shake them up for sure.
