It's being noted that there are thousands of illegals attempting to register to vote. There are recent spikes in the number of registration attempts.

I can see the following clearly:

- Heads being caved in at polling places in fights between angry MAGA and right wing types and suspected illegals. IE, voters may get harassed to say whether they habla ingles' and if they don't, they will be interrogated whether they are actual citizens or not. If they can't produce some ID they will be blocked from voting. Cops will be very busy.

- If the Democratic candidate wins, there will be an immediate civil revolt by right wingers at several levels: legislatures, local areas, and probably even in residential neighborhoods. It will be assumed that the vote was stolen by illegal voters. This will be a true constitutional crisis and will probably result in national martial law as well as partisan splits in the legislatures and the military. There would be a profound sense of hopelessness on the part of any patriot that things can't be remedied by legal action, so the right will become radicalized. Hell, I might even gather up a few bricks.

I don't see how it will be any other way. The left as tweaked and cornered the right for so long that the right will probably explode in tangible ways. We won't lose the country. We'll burn it to the ground if distrust remains high.

In my house we're getting mail in ballots. (Ohio's process is formalized for mail in voting.)
