I Googled "FIFO in Wagga Wagga", which you should realize to a US person sounds like utterly incomprehensible LOL cat talk, and it actually turned up jobs for drivers (I think.)

So it's a remote mining camp job where your room and board are provided and you can bank a lot. Sweet. There's no employment option like that in the continental US to my knowledge. The only things that come close are a job in the ND oil fields which has sky high cost of living.

As a retiree my only job is to be a professional homeowner (Attempt all repairs myself which I usually succeed with) and home chef. There's no employment options available to me that aren't either demeaning or unacceptably onerous.
