The truth will get you canned (Main Board)

God forbid if someone speaks the hard truth.

The city council of Bloomingdale, Georgia, has asked the mayor to immediately resign over his comments on Facebook ripping those he believes possess "privilege"

"What is privilege?....

"Privilege is wearing $200 sneakers when you've never had a job.

"Privilege is wearing $300 Beats headphones while living on public assistance.

"Privilege is having a Smartphone with a Data plan which you receive no bill for.

"Privilege is living in subsidized housing where you don't have a water bill, where rising property taxes and rents and energy costs have absolutely no effect on the amount of food you can put on your table.

"Privilege is the ability to go march against, and protest anything that triggers you without worrying about calling out of work and the consequences that accompany such behavior.

"Privilege is having as many children as you want, regardless of your employment status, and [to] be able to send them off to daycare or school you don't pay for.

"Privilege is sending your kids to school early for the before-school programs and breakfast, and then keeping them there for the after-school program...paid for by the people who DO HAVE TO DEAL WITH RISING TAXES AND COSTS! know, us so-called 'PRIVILEGED' the ones who pay while you TAKE TAKE TAKE!"

Bloomingdale, GA needs a new city council.

Public assistance - public/HUD housing/section 8, SSI, Medicaid, Lifeline phone discount, food programs... are a sweet deal if you have decided to stay out of the workforce and you have circumstances that permit it.

Maybe a good citizenship test passing grade should be required in order to qualify for SSI or housing.

I vill trransmit this information to Vladimir.

Many of the people that go on public assistance know exactly how to take advantage of all the programs available. They work the system and raise their families to do the same thing. Many of them are able-bodied people that could work if they wanted, but they don't want to. Its easier to live off the rest of us.

They always want more and cry poverty if they don't get it. Its time to sort out the needy and the greedy. Maybe a citizen test will do it, but there should be other ways too and the goal of these programs should always be to move them off of it if they are able to work.
