Fix The Site Certificate! (Public Board)
I thought this is run by people who know how to use a computer. I get a certificate error on Chrome.

I run the site. I devote no attention to this site. Yes, I know how certificates work, roughly. I've used Let's Encrypt and I updated the Linux version on the server a few weeks ago, which might have messed up the let's encrypt logic. I did get an SSL error in Firefox and I clicked through the use anyway option so I'm aware that the SSL cert is currently expired.
EDIT: The domain is about to expire on November 1st and I intend to let the domain expire.
Nah.
EDIT: I enjoyed in a perverse way banging my head against the wall over commands like "apachectl -S" for two days straight (not continuously but for a few hours total), so much so that I realized that I miss development.

Last year I held the site "hostage" at renewal time, and one member stepped forth and paypaled me $20 to renew the domain for another year. That round is at the one year mark on the 31st but this time I'm not making the offer.
We have probably 4-6 people at best who seem to post, and new posts can vanish for weeks.
What's posted at present and this has been the case for a few years is 99% right wing rage bait and Trump support. It's gotten really totally old.
The board suffered a mortal blow when Idiot/Weevil/C-suckerMcghee went crazy the last time a few years ago and left the board. He injected many new ideas and topics when he was around.
Likewise Idiot engaged with most of my posts. Most of my posts now have no engagement. Now everyone say in unison I'm boring and I'm wrong so I don't deserve responses. That's a bit how it feels.
But if I run the fucking board I'd kind of appreciate when people spar with me (not lambaste me for calling something out, genuinely argue my points) but that has not happened in a long time.
Mainly this site once fed my soul a bit and seemed to have kindred spirits. I don't get any of that at all now and it feels cold and hollow. It feels self mocking to keep this place online considering.

- I waded through Apache virtual hosts configs for a couple of days in order to find one dumbassed typo of mine that killed SSL for several days.
- I renewed the SSL certificate.
So I actually maintained the site as opposed to my earlier declaration.
Also, I'm probably going to keep the site around.
