A lot of people have been deriding the Lindsay Clancy verdict, where it was 11-1 with one lone holdout for guilty of murdering her children. The other 11 jurors were voting for "not guilty due to insanity".

I read a little more details, and the verdict isn't as nuts as many people make it sound. They say she had mental health issues before the murder. The care she received was so awful that her doctors probably are guilty of malpractice. If you add in that bit of information, voting "not guilty due to insanity" sort of makes sense.
