Did you ever use a self-driving car? (Public Board)

I never did. The technology just isn't good enough. I thought this article really highlighted the problems with self-driving vehicles. The driver said he was in auto-pilot mode when the crash happened, but Tesla said he overrode the autopilot. I'm not sure what the truth is, but if you look at the short video of the car flying into the house its shocking.

The main legal thing about driving a vehicle is that the driver is ultimately responsible for any damage caused in operation. With AI in the mix I assume that the driver is 100% responsible for any damages caused by autopilot going bonkers. Not for me.... If I'm gonna be responsible, I don't need an AI to help me drive into houses.
