It was great that they passed the rule for generic drugs back then, a step in the right direction. How shameful that our Congress has allowed the American consumer to be ripped off by scammers in the pharmaceutical industry for so many years.

I take two brand-name drugs and even with insurance the monthly costs have always been very high, but this year they are substantially lower. Trump did this with an EO but Congress needs to codify it into law. Why should the US continue to subsidize drug prices for other countries?
