I watched the video. Yeah, this stuff has been going on for decades it seems. People are divided by race, gender, blue collar/white collar, and now even age/generation. Of course it's even more of a thing now than it was decades ago.....with social media, streaming, etc.

It kinda reminds me of the old George Carlin quote.

There are some interesting comments below the video, including:

"Politics, especially in Washington DC are just like the old Friday night wrestling shows. The wrestlers spew hate toward each other on the screen but behind the scenes you will see them out eating together and riding to the next venue together. The announcers and referees are like the media stirring up the crowds to make them hate the other side. It's all a show! Washington politicians, on both side of the aisle, care nothing about us. Everything they do regardless of what side they are on is for their benefit not ours. They spew hatred on tv and laugh and pat each other on the back behind closed doors and then receive those big checks from the money people behind the scenes that are really running the show."

Yet these comments seem to make the case that one size is more civilized than the other:

"All this may be true, BUT right now it's NOT the conservatives/ maga that are running and spitting the hate and violence. All that as close to 100% as makes NO difference ALL coming from the left."

"It seems this is why they hate Trump so much and are throwing everything they can at him. He is the outlier that isn't in their special cabal, but that being said it's still very easy to paint him as your average skuzzball billionaire. And I base this on his actions, those actions that I have done my OWN research learning, NOT by taking the plopular opinion and msm propaganda but by seeing FOR MYSELF and NOT just taking their word as fact."

The whole thing seemed very suss to me. In numerous ways, which I won't go into.

But I do have a question for everyone. Does a person (who apparently is an accomplished hunter and has a high-powered hunting rifle) wake up one day and say I'm going to shoot this other person dead? In front of an audience (instead of say stalking him and doing it privately). Seriously does that happen. Not what have you been told happened on this or that occasion in the past. I mean in your own head do you genuinely believe that a person could do that.

We've been divided for a long time in this country. The Kirk shooting really was the last straw of tolerating the crazies in our society. The far-left lunacy has to go and its going to be ugly getting rid of it.

I don't see the US as financially collapsing. The real estate market is a bubble, but the stock market is doing well. I think that's pretty solid because of AI investments in the country.

The left got rid of Charlie Kirk but not his message. Most people don't want to see someone assassinated in our society even if they don't attend a vigil. That's a line in the sand that determines whether you're a third world country where political assassinations are common or not. Apparently we're third world now
