This guy is making a strong argument that what we are seeing the the world is this realignment:

- Russia is now the US of the 1950s - strongly nationalist, not communist, and not atheist.
- The EU de facto has evolved into a Soviet Union like entity.

Attributes of the EU:

Socialist/communist policy
Privation of the public (reducing energy production deliberately, etc)
Totalitarian
Central banks
Agriculture 5 year plans
Brussels == Moscow central control over 'states' (countries)
Atheist by design and intent
They can override elections
And I'll add:
Free speech absent
Totalitarian control over every aspect of public and private life (collectivizing farms)
Militant adversarial foreign policy and harsh military doctrine with no compromise

Not much left to argue that the EU is anything but.

Commie leftfags being squeezed out of public life in the US, such as certain celebrities, embrace the Godless communism of the EU and its little brother Canada and wanna move to those countries.

I found this take to be quite persuasive. I can't find a flaw or exception to it.

There is a definite realignment going on in the world. That guy makes a very good assessment of the situation. The EU has become totalitarian and the people there can't even vote their way out of it. The US is now aligning more with Russia than the EU.

Russia is nationalist and religious. Right now, the US has more in common with them on these very basic issues. Russia still doesn't have the freedoms we enjoy here, but it seems better dealing with them than the EU. There are some countries in the EU that won't comply with what Brussels wants, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

All the commies and progressive left are being driven out now. They know their world is over in the US because of Trump. Yay Trump! No more drag queen story hour anywhere. I bet that crap was funded by USAID too. It makes me want to vomit every day to read how our government pissed away our tax dollars on the transgender agenda. I'm so happy to see that being cut out of our society.

I'm not convinced but there is no question that the EU is pretty much a totalitarian organisation.

Also, you and Tim's guest missed the biggest issue of all: election results that the EU does not like are nullified (eg Georgescu in Romania) or worked around (eg Freedom Party in Austria, AfD in Germany) and candidates that the EU does not like are banned (eg Georgescu in Romania and le Pen in France).

Should be interesting to see how it plays out.
