Apparently Obama has been collecting $2.6M per year in royalties since 2010.
Either way, this pit is bottomless. Look at the number of federal employees who did not answer their doge email because ...they don't exist.
This was a rumor but it isn't true. He doesn't get any royalties from Obamacare.
The federal employees are getting a second chance doge email. If they don't answer that one they could be fired. We don't know if they exist or if they have a huge sense of entitlement and feel they shouldn't have to answer to Elon. A million workers answered the first email. We'll have to see how many answer the 2nd email.
Just goes to show you can't believe anyone from any camp :)

Royalties are passive income generated by using someone's intellectual property. IE, a juke box or musak that plays a song generates a small payment to the artists that made the song. Or a movie performance generates a royalty payment.
Royalties are usually a private sector thing.
Obama has grifted off of book deals and speeches. But a government program doesn't contain any intellectual property or work product that allows someone to passively collect a royalty check off of it.

We applied for marketplace insurance during the rollout of "Obamacare". I used that word with one of the "reps" on the phone and they practically did a mental backflip correcting me with "uh, I don't understand, do you mean the Affordable Care Act insurance?"
