Valid about "can he get things done" (Public Board)
VR attracted a ton of attention but in the final analysis:
- Did not get close to nomination.
- Got kicked off of DOGE even though he was one of the early touters of the concept of full government audit.
- He stuck his foot firmly in mouth with the comment about lazy Americans BUT was entirely correct. Nobody does self reflection well and when it's "forced" you're basically a (Indian term) pariah.
BTW to those on the mistrust VR train: I trust him MORE for making a political hot-potato point about low American intellectuality and work ethic. WE'RE STUPID. WE DON"T LIKE TO THINK. WE'RE PROVINCIAL AND PAROCHIAL TO AN EXTREME. HE'S RIGHT. VR says it like he thinks it. But IMO that one spoken point torpedoed his national appeal for a few years.
