Indeed... USS Liberty incident anyone? (Public Board)

That sort of is my point. In many places, you can post any of the pro-Israel points, and someone will retort "But what about USS Liberty!", as if that ends the discussion and proves without a doubt that Israel is 100% evil.

For every "bad" thing Israel did (USS Liberty, Deir Yassin), you can point to many more bad things Israel's enemies did. Even for the "bad" things, there usually is an explanation. For USS Liberty, the explanation is that ships wearing false flags was a thing, and the US ship was in a location contrary to where it was supposed to be and told Israel it was. So Israel's pilots assumed it was a Muslim ship carrying a US flag to be tricky. For Deir Yassin, there were a ton of atrocities committed by Muslims against Jews in the period 1920-1947, and some of the Jewish soldiers lost their patience. Israel didn't have the spare troops to occupy hostile Muslim villages behind their lines, so their only choices were to force everyone to flee or murder everyone.
