The Inauguration was moved indoors (Public Board)

Officially, they said they moved it inside due to the brutal cold and wind chills. It will now take place in the Capital Rotunda that holds about 2000 people. I think it was the right move, but they're not allowing guests with tickets to the inauguration to attend. Hmm. I'm sure a huge amount of people had tickets, so they promised there would be other opportunities for them to see him. They just couldn't see the swearing-in ceremony in person.

Part of me thinks there were security concerns as well. How could there not be? There isn't really a good way to protect an outdoor event of that size and especially considering they tried to assassinate Trump at least twice. I'm glad they moved it to a smaller venue and that plans for an outdoor event were nixed. It lessens the risk.

I can't wait for this to happen already.
