Biden is Mumbling (Public Board)
Is this for real? Biden is mumbling and I can barely understand him.

I'm picking up the "debate" at 11 minutes in and they are SERIOUSLY fucking with Trump's feed, silencing his audio and going blank screen for several seconds. Are you guys seeing things like this? (Feed from "USA Today" channel on Philo...)

I think they're also cutting off Biden when he's incoherent.

Impressions:
Surprised.
NOT a shit show. CNN is actually redeeming itself by allowing Trump to speak w/o interruption. I think the video issues were streaming errors, not censorship.
The moderators are not debating and undercutting Trump except for one thing, the question about "tax breaks for the wealthy" was a loaded Dem centric issue. Kudos for the restraint! Srsly. Could not believe it. No Chris Wallace lib-rinofaggot stuff going on here.
The structure of strict alternation between the two made the talking points coherent. The debate between Trump and Biden in 2020 gave me a head ache and had 0 value.
Trump is consistently hitting broad scale home runs and has only bloviated a couple of times with BS, but that is him playing to his base and that's OK.
Biden looks demonically hateful, angry, resentful, and aggrieved. He does not show power or composure. He shows weakness and lack of coherent reasoning, consistently.
Trump is easily besting Biden and this format is allowing it to happen.
Gavin Newsome will be the Dem pick most likely. Can't seem them running with potato.

Normally, the debates are after the convention.
The conspiracy theory is that they intentionally held the debate early this year. The knew Biden would bomb and now they have a justification for replacing him.

Totally agreed.
The debate format, which turned out to be eminently fair and a good model for contentious debates in the future, showed the truth of the candidates.
And the only time a Democrat allows truth to get out is when they want something.

Good insight. This could easily be the scripted beginning of the end for Biden. Let's see if the media now begin a campaign to get rid of him. Not that I have seen any of the debate. I'm just going by what's been said here, and by my missus.

well, here are five efforts from two-and-a-half collectivist-friendly Aus outlets. Didn't take long! No doubt there are more. Sky News is a bit like Fox in that it pretends to be individualist-friendly.
"Aggressive panic" amongst Democrats appears to be the scripted theme.

Biden's performance was pitiful, but its going to be hard to push him out if he doesn't want to step down. They waited too long to get rid of him. Even if they do try to replace him, Kamala is in the way. I don't think she'll step aside voluntarily and will want the presidency for herself.

Will he have a say? Will he actually say no I'm the most powerful person on the planet and I'm not going? I had the impression he was too far gone to make his own decisions. Or is it mainly physical problems.
