Thomas Massey is a hard no on a lot of legislation based on his "principles" if he doesn't get everything he wants. In a bill that covers a lot of different issues, there is just no way for him to get everything he wants. He is unreasonable and an asshole. He doesn't like what Trump did in Iran so he's teamed up with Democrats to limit Trump's involvement in Iran with some kind of bipartisan resolution. Massey is a rat.

Or... just maybe he's a shitty politician - meaning he is inept at compromise or triangulating a best available approach, but he has intellectual integrity. From what I've seen in interviews with him he is one of the smartest congressmen in office.

Meanwhile the entire reason for Iran's aggression, the Gaza war, rages on. Iran has too much national pride to take this without a fight.
