There were several No Kings protests not far from where I live. It was raining hard all day and cold for this time of year, so anyone that went got soaked. They were small, peaceful protests. Just groups of mentally ill Trump haters. According to what I read from the liberals that post on Nextdoor, they thought they were patriotic for showing up and hating on Trump. They're just so steadfast in their hatred they'll stand in a soaking rain on a cold day to show it. They're deranged.

If any one of them bothered to turn on the TV, they would've seen the parade and other festivities were all about the contribution of the Army over the past 250 years that have kept our country safe. They covered the history of the many wars they fought from the Revolutionary War forward. The soldiers wore uniforms from the different eras and military vehicles used during the different times were displayed. The soldiers were very proud to be recognized and appreciated.

It wasn't about Trump's birthday at all. It was about appreciation of the men and women of the Army that keep us free. Trump has always been patriotic and wants to bring back patriotism in this country. He paid for some of the parade himself and there were donations. Taxpayers paid the rest, probably. I'm okay with that because they deserve to be honored on their special anniversary.
