Congressman has a shouting match with the head of the Secret Service

This happened a couple weeks ago during a Congressional hearing. So basically the Congressman (Fallon) was questioning the Secret Service head (Rowe) and they ended up in a heated argument.

The best part was after they finished arguing. Rowe glared at Fallon and then Fallon called Rowe a "bully". Rowe glared at Fallon again and then Fallon leaned forward to mock Rowe and stared him down until he looked away.

The Secret Service guy basically starts bloviating about his hallowed service on 9/11/01 and the congressman starts yelling at him. I was mentally yelling at the SS guy that he starts an off topic tangent as a diversion from the actual facts being discussed at the hearing.

The hearing is about Secret Service failure to allow Trump's assassination attempt to go forward in July and the guy is bringing out sepia toned 23 year old memories.

So far I'm thinking the SS guy is a fucking horse's ass using words and self indulgent "patriotism" to cover for whatever he's being grilled on. Which I think triggered the congressman.

I say ream him.

Ronald Rowe didn't want to be questioned so he tried to dodge it by citing his patriotism on 9/11. What a prick! How dare they question his wisdom. I'm glad Congressman Fallon wasn't having any of it and was as pissed off as I am at how corrupt our government is.

The motherfucker is being asked about actions taken this last summer, not twenty three years ago.

I think a lot of people watching that won't get it.. the congressman could have done himself a favor by slowing down and replying to the guy's bullshit exactly specifically why the answer was garbage.

Yeah, the Congressman may have come across as more of an aggressor as he started yelling first. If he slowed it down a bit then that would have better portrayed the guy as incompetent.

I liked how the Congressman called him out for auditioning for the job....basically accusing him of sucking up to the President and VP. I think he's still acting Director and no doubt he'll be gone when the Trump administration takes over. There's a lot of talk that Dan Bongino could take over the Secret Service. Not sure if there is anything to that though.

I like that phrase "white knighting". That exactly describes what Rowe did.

The guy even looks like a prick. On The Gateway Pundit, people were making comments poking fun at his hairstyle lol.

Yeah, he truly looks like a prick. He's still acting director of the failing Secret Service, unfortunately. I'd love to see Don Bongino in that role. I'm not sure he wants it.
