Your Hubble spin is amusing (Public Board)
(God, I thought he died from your title.)
Seriously, is NASA on the chopping block?
I hate NASA anymore. It gets under my skin.
Their public relations have turned into a social media Instagram wokefest where the most important fact about new lunar missions is that there will be a woman and a black guy on the crew. And the new space suits look like Fisher Price.
I am used to the old days of spaceflight in the 60s through 90s when astronauts at leisure wore unfashionable ordinary white T shirts, the simulcast narration was technical and obviously coming from a scientist or mission specialist type rather than a media hanger-on, during live space events there was this "beep" every 15 seconds or so to show a live comm channel that just added to the atmosphere, and the production values were rough around the edges, but that made it seem more real.
NASA needs to drop all production values and go back to grit. Nothing they show live now looks real.
NASA PR is too fucking slick these days making me wonder what they are hiding... like dead bodies on space stations? (Insert skull emoji.)
