I really love that Tom Homan will be our new border czar. John Ratcliffe will be our new CIA Director. Marco Rubio will be Secretary of State. Trump appointed Mike Huckabee as US Ambassador to Israel and Elise Stefanek to US Ambassador to the UN. Finally, some competent people to run our government. We need a lot of fixing.

Homan comes across as a no-nonsense hard-nosed prick (which is a compliment especially considering the work that needs to be done).

Look up (if you haven't) some videos dropped on the Forbes Business channel of him reaming AOC and also some Hispanic congressman who were both slandering his work and his character. He's even arguing with the chairwoman bitch banging her gavel telling him he's out of order to get him to not defend himself.

Tom Homan is as tough as they come. He is described by his colleagues as a "cop's cop". No-nonsense is a good way to describe him. He has already told the blue "sanctuary states" leadership that they can help him or he'll arrest the illegals without their help.

Homan did an excellent job on the border during Trump's last term. This time, the border is a true disaster, country-wide. We've been invaded by criminals and gangs from everywhere. I trust that Homan will get them out fast. He would be in charge of ICE and has said thousands of ex-ICE employees are willing to come back and help get these people out of our country.

John Ratcliffe will be excellent as CIA Director. He was the Director of National Intelligence in the first Trump Administration and is on board with the Trump agenda. Marco Rubio was almost chosen for VP. I think he'll make an excellent Secretary of State. He has great people skills.

This time, Trump has chosen people that have proven support of the Trump agenda. These are tough people that can take the abuse they'll get from the left.

And then today's announcement was Matt Gaetz as AG. I didn't see that one coming! Good luck getting him confirmed though. There is talk that he resigned from the House and DeSantis could appoint him to the Senate to take Rubio's place. The R's in the Senate may vote him for AG if they don't want him around lol.

Matt Gaetz is a controversial pick, but he's a fearless fighter who is afraid of nothing. I'm sure Trump chose him for that very quality because the DOJ needs a real shakeup. Gaetz is a very smart and shrewd lawyer. He will probably be difficult to confirm because a lot of people don't care for his aggressive style, but he is what is needed considering the corruption in the DOJ today.

Probably why people like Kevin McCarthy say that Gaetz doesn't have a good chance of being confirmed by the senate.

I saw a post on another forum that explained why Gaetz was a brilliant pick. The Gaetz pick was not to get him actually confirmed. The Gaetz pick forces all the RINOs out into the open voting against Gaetz.

Now Trump knows who's on board, and who's on team RINO/Deep State.

All the people voting against Gaetz will lose their next primary. Even though that's not for 2-4-6 years, it's still an important step.

That's an interesting angle. It could be true. Trump knows that Gaetz is not popular after what he did to Kevin McCarthy. The Senate is full of RINOs. Gaetz did resign from the House, so if he doesn't get chosen for AG its possible he could be appointed to fill Marco Rubio's Senate seat.

I'm sure the Senate would love to have him join their ranks. He would shake them up for sure.

Another important step would be for Trump to appoint a successor (assume Vance isn't the guy to run in four years). Or maybe people on the Trump team will end up fighting it out in the primaries.

I think the Democrat party killed their credibility forever by running Biden for president knowing he was mentally impaired. They thought they could get away with it, but the debate between Trump and Biden was just damning. I saw it and couldn't believe the Democrats ran him as their candidate. It was sad to watch.
