One specific: the stock market.

Jerome Powell was defiant about retaining his position when asked about Trump replacing him.

And yesterday the Fed lowered the interest rate another 0.25%. If interest rates keep getting lowered, the stock market will continue the bubble expansion... then by the time Trump is in office officially there may be no more room to lower rates. In the current stock market that would presage a collapse of asset values.

When it comes to utter destruction the current administration knows exactly what to do and is very, very good at it. And now they're motivated to dig in.
