Are you really asking?
- Primarily they despise Trump so much that they are willing to sacrifice the US in order to avoid him. (Think RINOs like the Cheneys for that kind of thinking.)
- They have little information and based on what they have heard or been told by peers honestly believe that Harris would make the better president.
- They have little information and make the decision based only on identity or some favorable media treatment.
- They have little information and don't comprehend that all presidents enact policies. This type would probably say Harris is better because she has no stated specific policies. The media paints specific policies as being fascist.
- Some people just resist the best or most appropriate solution because it's so obvious to anyone with eyes. (I worked with a guy years ago who bought a Renault, because "everyone gets a Honda Accord".) An attitude of contrarity, informed by lack of facts.

Communism/socialism will always be attractive to someone of average or below-average ability. Who wouldn't turn down free stuff? It's the curse of our productive semi-market economic system, that you can have 10+ useless eaters for each person with a real job. Those useless eaters get one vote each, same as people with a real job.
If you're a criminal, someone who's "diversity privileged", or a deadbeat on welfare, it's your logical self-interest to vote for Kamala.
I saw an article that said this is the end of Democracy and proof why it doesn't work, that politicians can buy the votes of deadbeats with taxpayer money. If all the non-deadbeats got together and said "NO!", there wouldn't be anything the deadbeats could do about it, even though they are a voting minority. That's why things like Jan 6 are so scary. If all the productive workers got together and organized, they wouldn't be robbed by the unproductive anymore.
A stable political system has to allocate power based on competence, and not who can get the most useless people to back them.

Most people don't have access to (meaning, have absolutely no idea how to obtain) facts about anything political.
The US public has been propagandized relentlessly since at least the late 1930s when the press hyped FDR as the messiah. FDR was basically the Obama of his time, coronated into power.
And people just can't think critically. They accept as canonical that Trump is an awful disgusting person, but they uncritically view Kamala sympathetically or neutrally. If you dig a bit the reverse is the case. The news told them, and anything else is "misinformation" because the news told them.
The propaganda and narrative is extremely deep and most people in our culture reflexively mirror the leftist preference of just about every major news feed available.
I also dispute that welfare types and lazy asses and even illegals are prepared to vote in droves, not unless their votes are harvested.
Someone who can't be arsed to work and take care of their own interests has no concern about an abstraction like their vote.
Maybe that is why the ballot harvesting is a problem, even when it's not fraudulent. You're compelling individuals who normally would not vote to do so. I believe voting should be reserved for those who understand and are motivated to vote on their own.
But even not counting bottom feeder votes, the national bias is Democratic - leftist - globalist. Has been for a very long time - since the time of Kennedy.

Deadbeats and Criminals share the current Democrat party values but they might not be the most reliable voting base. The Democrats have lost a lot of the Black/Hispanic vote. They've lost a lot of the Muslim and Jewish vote. Parents everywhere are up in arms about what their kids are being taught in school. Those are the people that reliably vote and I hope we can out-vote the scum in our society.
How about biological men being allowed in women's sports and locker rooms. That is a huge losing issue for Democrats. They've gone so far left, they left a lot of their base behind that Trump has happily picked up. I think most of these disinchanted Democrats will come out for Trump and help save the country.

To those uninitiated in science fiction tropes, an event horizon is basically where things come to a monumental head in the movie or show. Like the US now.
It's obvious who the right candidate is.
However, I'm not sniffing Trump's farts and I am trying to stay distanced from the ebullient optimism that the right now has about him.
Y'all are just too happy. Even BEST CASE, the US will experience a mini-depression with the disruption that Trump's policing actions will entail. I don't just mean the illegal problem. Example, how about Elon Musks' commentary that he could immediately trim $2T off the US budget. I'd love to see that, but that is a lot of suddenly unemployed bureaucrats who would probably go all Antifa.
The next 2-3 years will be ROUGH no matter who is selected as POTUS. Hell, a Harris administration would probably be easier to deal with in the short term because she's a do nothing bullshit artist who will allow the country to run on auto pilot like Biden does now.

Event Horizon was a good movie. I agree that this election is the US event horizon. We'll either end up on the path to Communism and globalist control or we can restore the country to its former glory by electing Trump.
I'm cautiously optimistic that Trump will win, but well aware that Democrats cheat and will use underhanded tactics to stop him from being elected. In this election, people are well aware of their cheating methods after what happened in 2020. The RNC and GOP are using the courts to shut down Democrat cheating attempts now and they're winning in most cases.
I think most people will be ecstatic if Trump wins. It means a return to prosperity, low inflation, low energy prices and peace on Earth. The people that will be depressed are the deep state operatives. They may be prosecuted. Government employees in every department will likely lose their jobs. They'll get severance pay and the like just like what happens in the private sector.
We're going to have to hear a lot of screaming from Democrats losing their minds no matter what, but I think Trump will handle it the right way. It'll be rocky, but its all good if you're going in the right direction.
