Lidia Thorpe (Public Board)

King Charles visited Aus for a few days. On Monday, Senator Lidia Thorpe (an aborigine shit-stirrer) shouted at him "you are not my King" and "fuck the colony". Despite having sworn an oath of allegiance to Queen Elizabeth before she could take her seat in the Senate! And amid the backlash she reckoned she deliberately said "hairs" instead of "heirs" in the oath (... allegiance to the Queen and her heirs ...). And now she reckons her English isn't good.

Disrespectful lying cow ought to be thrown out of parliament.

I do not at all feel strongly about the monarchy but the majority and I believe that replacing our present constitutional monarchy with anything else would be worse. Either way, you don't just go and shout abuse at the king. How about some decorum? Thorpe and her parents should all be ashamed.

In case you didn't know, Australia Day, the day the first colony was founded, is referred to by aborigine shit-stirrers (aka activists) as Invasion Day. Fuck off. These shit-stirrers are all urban. If they don't want western civilisation they are welcome to go bush and live the traditional way. And good on 'em if they do that. They have a lot to be proud of, such as land management many of which practices are better than the stupid ones we practise now. But if they choose to live in the cities, they choose civilisation and British heritage and all that comes with it.

I saw the video of the unhinged Senator screaming at the King and thought it was so disrespectful. She should face consequences for her embarrassing display.

If that happened in the US with a Senator, they would likely be censured. A censure is a public condemnation by fellow senators. If two thirds of the Senate agree with that it would result in the Senator possibly being expelled from Congress. Usually a censure doesn't go that far. Will Thorpe face anything like that?

She should really resign because of her behavior.

We have censure motions too. They are merely symbolic, a public show of disapproval by the respective lower or upper House. They don't lead anywhere, let alone expulsion.

Politically, and sparing you the details, I doubt that the numbers are there for a censure to get up. Sad.

On the bright side, her shameful conduct has woken many people up to her true nature. In the bigger picture, that's progress.
