Tim Walz during the debate with JD Vance (Public Board)

The words from both guys were what I expected.

What struck me the most about Walz was his total lack of poise and grace under pressure. When Vance was talking, Walz generally looked toward Vance like he was amazed and baffled. It wasn't a "you're goddamned fucking full of shit I hate you" look, it was an "oh holy shit, I have absolutely no comeback for these facts he's stating" look. He looked amazed that he was being owned.

Walz looked paranoid and uncomfortable. I compare him directly to Nixon's performance during the first TV debate with Kennedy in 1960. If you check out old news reels you'll see what I mean. Maybe not exactly the same kinds of presentation issues but the general vibe that the guy was totally out of his element. Nixon was sweaty and had a 5 o'clock shadow while Kennedy was Mr Kool.

Kamala Kneepads was far more poised in the debate at least as far as being a face actor to constantly ridicule Trump while he spoke. She's a fucking retard for picking Walz. She apparently selected the most communistic US hating piece of human garbage for the role.

And what amazes me about this entire debate situation is that Tim Walz is an "experienced" (probably fairly shitty) politician, likely with very weak political competition in his region.

Vance is a total newcomer to politics and has only been in the senate a couple of years. Vance gave a master class in dismembering lies and misrepresentations.

Those are good points you bring up. I thought Walz's facial expressions were hilarious. He could pass as the son of Don Rickles. As you mention, he looked nervous as hell and even looked like he was going to cry at times. Vance even had him agreeing with him on some occasions.

That being said, Walz didn't really come across as "unlikable", like Kamala. I saw many comments under youtube videos where people posted that they wish Vance and Walz were running instead of Trump and Harris. They were pleasantly surprised by the respect that Vance and Walz showed each other. Some people even said they wouldn't mind a ticket with those two on it despite their political differences.

Walz was self deprecating when he called himself a knucklehead lol. He didn't do himsef any favors though when he said that he was friends with school shooters. WTF?

That being said, Vance showed that he may have a bright future in politics. At age 40, he could run in 2028 and still be a young candidate.

Rock on, my dude, that is the money quote of the month! :-D

I wholeheartedly agree with your comments. Walz may be a feckless commie but JD Vance acquitted himself brilliantly by negating the ogre image that lefties have built up around MAGA types.

If there are any good feelings and civility left in this benighted country at this point, they were on display in this debate.

I hate on Walz just because of the side he's on but he doesn't seem mean. Just poorly informed.

His comment about being a knucklehead was :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Walz looked scared to death. He must've been freaking out inside and it was written all over his face. Didn't they prepare him for the debate? I think not. I can't believe he is the governor of Minnesota. What's in the water up there to elect this total buffoon? Can you imagine that this guy could one day be our President? Lord help us.

Vance was just excellent. He was confident and well spoken. He also handled the snarky-ass moderators well without being nasty about it. His performance was perfect. I could see him as president one day. The CBS moderators were hostile, much like the ABC moderators were with Trump and Harris. They are so biased and truly awful people.
