It's inevitable that Israel is going to have to strike back at Iran. Even though the Iron Dome intercepted most of the missiles, that doesn't make it allowed. That's like saying "It's OK to shoot a policeman because you know he's wearing a bulletproof vest."

There are so many targets Israel can take:

- Iran's nuclear weapons program is getting demolished. If Iran had a nuke, they would have used it already.
- Figure out where all the top military leaders and politicians live and bomb their homes and offices.
- Any weapons depots or manufacturing plants are gone.
- Destroy the oilfields and oil tanks and refineries and ports.
- (what I think they should do but probably won't) Bomb every police station, eliminating Iran's police state control of its population. They probably will hit military targets.

What Iran did to Israel deserves a very strong response and I have no doubt they will hit Iran where it hurts. I read that they intend to strike their oilfields and refineries to affect them economically, but also they may target senior leadership in the regime. Bibi recently talked about freeing the Iranian people from the authoritarian regime of Ali Khamanei. Israel was so successful in taking out the leadership of Hezbollah, so its a possibility. Iran directly bombing Israel opens a new chapter in the war so anything can happen.

I also hear people saying "Israel needs to be careful not to escalate." Hamas/Hezbollah/Yemen/Iran already have max hatred for Israel. If there was anything they could do, they would have tried already.

If Iran had the ability to launch enough rockets in 15 minutes to overwhelm Israel's defenses, they would have done it already. If Hezbollah thought they could invade Israel and win, they would have done it already. The only side that's been holding back so far is Israel, mostly due to pressure from the US and Europe.

It's almost like the US telling Israel to not do something is just an indication of what they should do next.

US says "Don't invade Rafah and the Philadelphi corridor." Israel does it, discovers a ton of smuggling tunnels between Egypt and Gaza. Conclusion: Israel did the right thing.

US says "Don't escalate with Hezbollah." Israel nearly wipes out Hezbollah's leadership and destroys a significant amount of their weapons stockpiles.

US complains: "Why didn't you tell us before you blew up the pagers? Why didn't you tell us before killing Nasrallah?" Duh, the US would have leaked it to them if Israel told the US.

US says "Don't escalate with Iran." Conclusion: Escalating with Iran must be a good idea. Otherwise, the US wouldn't be trying to stop it.

The US government is like a backwards oracle. Whatever they tell Israel to not do, Israel should definitely do it.

Israel should do whatever they think is necessary to take out the terror threat. The last people they should listen to is the Biden Adminstration. Their policy of appeasement with Iran helped enable them to have the money to fund terrorism against Israel.

I read the Iranian leadership is very nervous after the death of Nasrallah and all of the other leadership in Hezbollah. They fear they could be next.
