I wasted $100 on a license to CityDesk, when he discounted it from 299. This was actually their roll off of selling and supporting CityDesk. IOW when he discounted CityDesk and sold it to stupid people like me he was getting out of the business (that was around 2005. I imagine content creation such as WordPress was getting bigger then and he saw the writing on the wall.)

It appears that likewise CoPilot was sunsetted and that product has vanished. I've worked for some businesses that were later acquired simply to get their small customer lists and drive them out of business, which appears to be the deal here.
