I think they do which is why they chose Kamala Harris. She's a throw-away candidate and so is Tim Walz. They are two of the worst presidential candidates in history and even the media can't fix it. Democrats have to know that.

The Democrats have gone to plan B which is at least sabotage Trump's next presidency like they did the first one. President Jill Biden held a cabinet meeting, the first one after a year today, to make sure the Biden Admin policies will stay in place even if Trump wins. She was filling in for Joe, I guess.

Maybe this is a sign that they know they can't cheat to win this time. There are too many people watching.

At what level do you mean? Are you speaking of the top officials in the Democratic party?

At the man in the street level, look at my photo thread of a local dumb Democratic bastard who believes fervently in the lies. The individual voters vote by emotional reflex. Like a cat purring or hissing. No logic to it, no reasoning process.

At the level of chair-people, they are probably 1) in absolutely denial that Harris is basically despised or at least inherently distrusted by anyone who can see through a person's character WHICH BY THE WAY IS A MINORITY OF THE POPULATION HELLO.

But also 2) officials are probably planning some degree of cheat and "election fortification".

Between 1 and 2 - they know that many Dems will vote for a bag of human shit as long as it is in the D column; and they are planning to cheat as much as possible to make her come out on top.

That is my honest opinion. Reliance on voter inertia and ignorance + cheating.

I'm talking about the upper echelon of the Democrat party - mostly Pelosi, Obama and Schumer. Kamala has never been popular and they know it. The only Democrat primary she ever ran in she ended up quitting because she did so bad. They know they're running a loser candidate and she might not win, even with cheating. They're stuck with their DEI hire.

I know Democrats are dumb and many will vote for her but a lot of them are very unhappy with the immigration and inflation. No amount of media bells and whistles can gloss over those two issues and Kamala has no plan to fix them. I don't know if you saw any of Kamala's interview with Oprah. I saw one short clip where she did her typical non-answer word salad to someone from the audience.

Of course they will cheat, but the RNC and other organizations have shut down a lot of the avenues they used in the past to cheat. There are currently about 80 election-related lawsuits that the RNC has pending against various states. Its part of their Protect the Vote initiative.

There are a lot of people who will just vote Democrat no matter who is the candidate.

If Trump was assassinated, who's next in line to step up? Nobody, that's who. That's why a Trump assassination would matter.

What if something happens to Kamala? The other Democrats are pretty much interchangeable. They could slot 100 other Democrat politicians into the candidate role and everything would be the same.

Democrats also live in a logic bubble, where women and blacks can do no wrong. If you accuse a woman of incompetence, that's because you're sexist. If you accuse a black of incompetence, that's because you're racist. They're immune from any serious scrutiny of their performance. That also makes it much more likely that their performance is awful. Kamala is the perfect DEI candidate, in an environment where DEI is the only credential that matters.

Democrats have several things in their favor. They have vote banks like blacks, illegals, and dead people, who will vote for them no matter what. Any fraud they were planning with Biden the candidate is happening exactly the same with Kamala as the candidate. They also have almost all the large institutions on their side: universities, big media, big tech, the financial industry, etc.

There are a lot of people that vote Democrat no matter what but they have to be feeling the pain of inflation and immigration. She's going to lose some votes for that because she either has no plan or doesn't intend to fix it.

There has to come a point though, even for a Democrat, where they get tired of the status quo. Democrat voters that live in the cities are getting the worst of the Harris/Biden agenda. It has to have an impact on how they vote. Kamala is not exactly a stellar candidate. Maybe they hate Trump but looking back he wasn't bad at all as president. Some of them will vote for Trump secretly.

I was taken in by Obama in his time in office, mostly. But Obama's image was so carefully cultivated that a lot of us were unclear what his negatives were and Obama was not emphatically debunked to the degree that Biden et al are today. Also alt media was not that strong then.

In other words I consider it forgivable somewhat if a voter swallowed bald faced lies from the establishment in the early 2010s because the issues were presented in such a murky way.

To wholly buy Democrat lies now in 2024 with so much more information available is just plain willfully stupid and evil. Like this guy I profiled.

People like your FB friend Tim are hopeless. They believe the media hype no matter what, but this time there are a lot of Democrats that are tired of the inflation, open borders, gender madness, etc. and are voting Trump. Not all of them will wake up but basically you can't fix stupid.

I didn't vote for Obama but I thought he would win because he was well spoken and black. After what Bush did to the country it was very unlikely for a Republican to win the presidency. The McCain/Palin ticket was not exactly inspiring but I voted for them anyway. I voted for Romney too.

I thought Obama would at least have made race relations in this country better, but all he did was rekindle racial division that is still going on today. Obama was just a community organizer and the rest of his life story was carefully hidden from the public. Its a good point that back then there wasn't much alt media to really vet him. I just didn't trust that he was real.

The people voting for Democrats today live in an alternate reality.
