I had reservations about posting this article but it has too many good bits not to post. The bad bits are all the editorialising and woke nonsense. Skip those and focus on all the good bits. Some of it was new to me. The Electoral Commissioner says we will never have voting machines. I hope he's right. Unfortunately, no mention of plans either way for electronic voting. I hope the trials etc are killed off. Typical obsession with "democracy" which neither Aus nor the US nor even the UK are. The article has a couple of good photos, not including the sausage sanger which is bloody burnt!

Also, I didn't mention last thread that our elections are on Saturdays. This article reminded me of that. I would add to my list of essential features having Saturday as distinct from a weekday as the election day.
