Star Wars Lesbians (Public Board)

by FSK, Thursday, June 13, 2024, 14:22 (408 days ago)

There's a new Star Wars series "The Acolyte" that's the usual woke crap.

This video explained the messaging pretty funny:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ShvlYjOgXM

There's a cult of lesbian witches who have children. The want to indoctrinate their children into their cult. The children don't want to join. The Jedi show up. The Jedi offer to "protect the children" from the lesbian witches and let them be Jedi instead. The children say "I want to be a Jedi instead of a lesbian witch." The parents say no, their children are required to become lesbian witches.

The Jedi who want to "protect the children" from the lesbian witches are portrayed as the villains.

That is not Star Wars.

Crazy how Disney takes these franchises and transform them into something completely different. Or invert them or even pervert them.

Doctor Who is the same. The show has a character called the Doctor and a machine called a TARDIS but it is a completely different show. It's not Doctor Who at all.

I never thought I'd say this but I'm glad that DW is getting its worst ratings ever and I hope they cancel it.

Even six months ago I would've said hopefully it gets better. Nope. They've perverted it and it needs to stop. Hopefully one day it will be resurrected again and be faithful to the canon.

I didn't realize Disney had anything to do with Dr. Who. They are the kiss of death for any show they touch. They never learn from their low ratings either. They just keep pushing the woke gender agenda that no one wants.

Go woke go broke needs to happen to Disney and any company like them. Their shows are unwatchable. I don't know what its going to take for them to get the hint. Disney has lost a lot of money already yet they keep pushing their perverse agenda.

"Get Woke Go Broke" doesn't happen to large megacorporations. They have an unlimited budget. They can afford to put ideology ahead of profits, because they have access to unlimited capital.

With paper money and negative real interest rates, banks can always print new money and give it to Disney.

Suppose inflation is 10%, interest rates are 5%, and Disney has $100B in debt. This means Disney gets $5B in free money every year.

Following this example, after 1 year, Disney has $100B in debt and $5B in interest payments due. They can now borrow $10B more (because of inflation), use $5B to pay off their interest, and now have $5B to spend as they please. Their balance sheet looks the same, because debt as a percentage of assets hasn't changed, due to 10% inflation.

The catch is that banks now use ESG scores to decide who's allowed to borrow. If Disney didn't go woke, their ESG score collapses, and now they can't borrow anymore.

All the shares are controlled by a few index funds and hedge funds. All those funds now use ESG scores when voting for a Board of Directors and CEO. If the CEO refused to go woke, he would be replaced. The CEO values keeping his job more than profit.

IOW supporting the ideology is the goal, not profits

It makes some sense.

I suppose this premise falls apart for smaller companies (than Disney). For instance Target and others cutting back or eliminating Pride month merchandise.

Maybe below a certain level of cultural prominence such as a major entertainment company or network, the business has to accept some sacrifices to be an "ally."

Target doesn't have a monopoly like Disney. If people get mad at Target, they'll go to Wal-Mart or Amazon or others.

Due to the way copyright law works, Disney has a complete monopoly on Star Wars. They're the only one who can make new Star Wars TV shows and movies, no matter how bad they do. There are a certain number of people who will follow Star Wars no matter what, no matter how bad it gets.

Yes this ESG thing is absolutely toxic. Companies should be focused on maximising returns to owners but instead are forced to do contrary things. It should be illegal.

Blackrock and Vanguard are the bosses. State Street is also big but not on the same level.
