VP (Public Board)
There's been a lot of chatter on Ben Carson as of late, which was a surprise to me since he has been out of the spotlight for awhile.
I was hoping Trump would pick him in 2016. I've been a fan of Carson ever since the 2016 campaign when he ran for President. I think this is the moment that the two became friends:

Carson was in an embarrassing situation and rather than walk past him with a stupid look on his face like Jeb! and Ted Cruz, Trump waited like a gentleman until Carson's name was called. And they say that Trump has no decorum.
While others have turned on Trump, Carson has been loyal to him this entire time.
Not the most exciting guy in the room but he is intelligent and might bring Trump some of the black vote. I think he'd be a better choice than Tim Scott. There's a lot of talk about Byron Donalds but I don't really know much about the guy.
There was talk of Tulsi Gabbard for awhile but I haven't really heard much about her lately. Apparently she could bring him some Democrat votes with her being a former Democrat.
Any thoughts on who Trump should pick to maximize his chances of winning?
