So it's a remote mining camp job where your room and board are provided and you can bank a lot. Sweet. There's no employment option like that in the continental US to my knowledge. The only things that come close are a job in the ND oil fields which has sky high cost of living.

As a retiree my only job is to be a professional homeowner (Attempt all repairs myself which I usually succeed with) and home chef. There's no employment options available to me that aren't either demeaning or unacceptably onerous.

Yeah, it is a camp from what I saw too. But free rent and free meals. You can bank a lot of dinero on that basis. The main downside is probably that it's a kind of grubby and isolated way to earn a living if you stay there.

Note to ,ndo - independent trucking in the US is mostly decimated due to the economy and rates have plummeted. Plus several major trucking firms have gone out of business in the last year.
