This is one of the things Western Civilization doesn't get. You have to be ruthless when dealing with crazy violent Muslims. It is wrong to treat Islam as equal to the other organized religions.

All organized religions are wrong in some way, but Communism and Islam are the "most wrong".

If Israel wasn't 100% ruthless when dealing with Muslims, they would have been genocided in 1948.

As I said before, the Palestinians are the forward vanguard of the Muslim war against Israel. The other Muslims get to have plausible deniability of wanting peace, while they give weapons to the Palestinians. The Palestinians are a Muslim army stationed on Israel's border, waiting for the right moment to fight and win.

That's the reason no other Muslim country wants to take in the Muslims. It isn't because "Palestinians are violent". By keeping the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, it creates a permanent unsolvable crisis problem for Israel. By Muslim logic, sacrificing millions of lives to fight Israel is a brilliant idea, even though it would be horrible by Western standards.

For example, Palestinians ask for a "2 state solution". They do not mean "we get a country as part of a permanent peace deal". They mean "we want a country we can use as a staging ground for war with Israel, like the way Hamas used Gaza." Palestinian leaders say "We can't win a war with Israel right now. But if we get our own country, build up our military, we would have a chance to invade Israel and win, or at least cause them serious damage."

The Israeli position now is "We realize that permanent peace with Palestinians is never happening. We can't be nice to them and hope to convince them to go for peace. Now, we are going to be as ruthless as possible. We can't stop them from hating us, but we can limit their military capability." That's the "goal" of the war in Gaza. They aren't going to convince them to not hate Jews and Israel. They're just eliminating their ability to fight, at least hopefully for 10-20 years until they rebuild.

From the Palestinian viewpoint, so what if every building in Gaza was destroyed? It was all built with foreign aid, and they'll get foreign aid again to rebuild. So what if 5% of the population dies? That's a few years of birthrate to replace that population.

Suppose that Israel decided to make a gesture of friendship, took down the border walls, and gave the Palestinians the ability to freely travel in Israel. Do you know what would happen? A substantial number of them would go around killing Jews. That's why they built the wall in the first place.

Do you know what would happen if Muslims somehow found a way to beat the IDF? Everyone in Israel would die. They would be genocided.

If an enemy is trying to genocide you, and can never be convinced to change their ways, then it is acceptable to genocide them. The only way Israel can get a permanent peace with the Palestinians is to actually genocide them. That's the reason Israel keeps getting preemptively accused of genocide, even though that isn't what they're actually doing.

Israel made a huge tactical mistake by not murdering everyone in Gaza. There will be another major terrorist attack against Israel in 5-10 years. Next time, instead of a couple thousand soldiers invading, it might be 100k+. Smuggle in weapons, give every male in Gaza and the West Bank a gun, they would cause major damage. Israel was lucky on Oct 7 that the terrorists didn't make it to any major cities.
