Well the pope hasn't been a good Catholic for decades. Paul VI the last decent one maybe? Dunno. But yes the nature of the congregation probably makes it easier to do his socialist/globalist thing.

It just occurred to me that the Catholic church generally dominates mostly in Latin America and in very liberal western countries in Europe. Latin America is basically leftist or Communist.

Therefore it seems to me that ANY Pope will unavoidably be liberal. Simply because that's his actual base.
