Dealing with people who don't social distance and/or wear a mask (Main Board)

On one hand it makes you look like the proverbial "Karen" to get aggressive about mask wearing and social distancing.

I don't want to come across like this at work. Out in public, at the grocery store or whatever, I don't give a fuck what people think.

My own thought is that inhaling vapors from one person is much less risky than being subjected to the prole farm of Walmart or grocery shopping.

On the other hand you have no idea where these individuals have been or whom they have been in contact with.

That is exactly what I was thinking. These two co-worker have dealings with the public. A co-worker in my department had to quarantine for two weeks because his wife had it. Fortunately he tested negative.

I'd push it as far as I could with an individual. But HR should be involved to make a clarifying statement on the subject such as "even 2 person encounters in cubicles on company property have to be socially whatevered."

HR has released statements about masks and being six feet apart. Of course a lot of people don't follow it. Just about everyone is good with masks, but as far as social distancing goes, they think that wearing a mask means that there is no need to social distance and people get closer than six feet apart (even the staunch liberals lol).

Also keep in mind that it doesn't seem to take much to make people snap these days.

That is true!
