They're close to flipping Texas with the same strategy. If they succeed, Republicans are permafucked.

Let the goddamned California commies drop dead (reply)

Citizens of California have financial lives much harder than someone in most other regions of the country. They won't make the connection and they'll vote blue like a cult.

They're mostly haughty liberals just like Canadians who love their MAID and consider it merciful.

California Jungle Primary (reply)

The only way a Republican wins California governor is if they take both spots in the primary. There are so many Democrats in California that they should win a Democrat vs. Republican matchup. "Vote blue no matter who."

California Jungle Primary (reply)

Their "jungle primary" system isn't working for the Democrats this time around. California is in such bad shape after years of Democrat policies, its very likely they could elect a Republican governor. I think Steve Hilton has an excellent chance of winning.

Even though Swalwell dropped out of the race for governor, his name will still appear on the primary ballot. That means there is still eight Democrats running against two Republicans.

I think CA Democrats might've screwed themselves this time with their "jungle primary". People are fed up with Democrat rule. There's a reason why people are moving out of that state.

The primary is June 2 so there isn't much time to change the rules. They'll probably try to cheat.

California Jungle Primary

California has a "jungle primary" system. The top two vote getters in the primary advance to the general election, regardless of party affiliation.

This system was designed to screw Republicans, because the top two vote getters were frequently both Democrats. Frequently, the "jungle primary" system led to Republicans getting excluded from the general election ballot.

In the California governor race, every Democrat and their dog is running, splitting the commie vote. There are only two Republicans seriously running, and they're first and second, but with only 15%-20% of the vote each.

It's very similar to the situation where Schwarzenegger won, where the Republicans backed Schwarzenegger close to 100% but the Democrats had multiple candidates splitting the vote, in the recall election.

They desperately need multiple Democrats to drop out, so that at least one Democrat can make the top 2 in the primary. Otherwise, it could be two Republicans facing off in the general election for California governor.

That's the reason Swalwell was suddenly unpersoned. If he drops out, then there are fewer Democrats splitting the vote, and it'll be easier for a Democrat to crack the top two.

I bet they'll find a way to change the rules and screw the Republicans, if the Republicans do wind up with both ballot spots in the general election.
